An inverter heat pump is a heating and cooling system that uses inverter technology to regulate compressor speed and adjust heating or cooling capacity based on actual needs. The main characteristic of the inverter heat pump is the use of a variable speed compressor. Unlike traditional systems that operate at a constant speed, an inverter compressor can adjust its speed continuously to meet heating or cooling needs more precisely. By adjusting the compressor speed, the inverter heat pump can modulate the power output to match the actual heat load of the home. This makes it possible to maintain a stable temperature more efficiently to optimize energy consumption by avoiding frequent starts and stops of the compressor. This reduces power consumption, thereby improving the energy efficiency of the system.
The Turcotte inverter heat pump is equipped with multiple probes and pressure sensors that measure operating conditions in real time. This data is used to dynamically adjust the speed of the compressor as well as the indoor and outdoor fan motors. The continuous regulation of the compressor speed allows the heat pump to quickly adapt to changes in ambient conditions, thus ensuring constant comfort inside the house as well as energy savings. It is this ability to adjust that gives the Turcotte Heat Pump the status of a complete Full Inverter system.
